IAPT Employment Advisors

Are you feeling low in mood, lacking in motivation? Is this affecting your ability to engage in work?

This FREE service provides support for anyone that is experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues that may involve any of the symptoms in the picture, left. And as a result these symptoms may be having an effect on a persons ability to engage in their current work role.

Due to the growing evidence that health, work and well-being are closely linked, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, as part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies national initiative (IAPT), have set up an Employment Adviser support service for people who are struggling with their mental health who are currently employed. The programme has been developed to help people overcome problems affecting their ability to work effectively and support people through a phased return back to work, after a period of ill health.
