TESTIMONIALS
In the academic year 2009 – 2010 MindWorks provided a number of training sessions and workshops within the university. The ‘Basic Mental Health Awareness’ workshops were provided for staff at both the Scarborough and Hull campuses. Staff came from all backgrounds including student support, academic departments and administration. This course was very well received and the feedback from staff was excellent. I have ongoing requests from departments for this type of training. The trainer from MindWorks was very professional and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm made the subject interesting and accessible for people and she was able to pitch the style of delivery and content at just the right level. We hope to offer this training again in the future.

"On average, employers should expect to find that at any one time nearly 1 in 6 of their workforce is affected by a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. The proportion rises to over 1 in 5 if alcohol and drug dependence are also included."
